CANOEING THE CONTINENT
3000 miles from the Atlantic to the Black Sea
Officialwebsite for the Canoeing the Continent Expedition 2013. Two students paddling 3000 miles across Europe from Nantes, France to Istanbul, Turkey. A unique and challenging route that passes through ten countries and has never been attempted before. Sponsored by the University of Warwick, Kent Canoes and Countryside: Ski and Climb. The hope is that these pages both tell the story of the expedition, as well as providing useful resources for anyone interested in canoeing or kayaking in europe, particularly on the rivers Loire, Saone, Doubs, Rhine, Main and Danube.
